Not quite there yet but noticed my portfolio snowballing over the years. Using IBKR now but looking to explore other brokerage. For those investing big sum, do you invest in other instruments other than stocks?
IBKR is as cheap as it gets. Trying to go cheaper might be possible, but you will probably be paying with it in other ways (poor advice by salesperson, slippage, forex spreads, etc). Dont miss the forest for the trees.

Multiple m in IBKR. No issues and not planning to switch. I have private equity allocations (not in IBKR) which are separate to public portfolio. Only issue with IBKR is that they do real time margin liquidation, whereas a local bank like SCB may give you up to 12 hours to meet a margin call before selling your collateral. I don’t employ excessive leverage so this arrangement still works for me for now, but I may transition to a local bank at some point if I decide to take leverage up.
you do stocks and PE? Do you invest in private credits and/or other instruments?
Just PE as that is what I’m familiar with
