Throughout history, whenever an incumbent power entertain such a notion, it is usually on its decline. Be it empires, nations, enterprises, businesses, ... nothing last forever. Nothing is constant, except change. A philosophical principle by Heraclitus, and attested by scientists and engineers since. If PAP's rule is to last longer, it must therefore change, and only remain constant in namesake.
Yeah but surely even when revisiting history you could point to times where you can see the decline before the fall actually happened...cant really see it with the pap...sure there have been fk ups but the way they squashed the opp in certain places where you thought it would be close is very telling...paul tambyah lost pretty resounding and that is someone most people respect...cant even point to gerrymandering.
Support policy. Don't blindly support party can already
Forever? Maybe not. In the short term, very likely though. There isn’t any opposition party right now that can field the required number of candidates to form the majority. Even the most prominent, WP, didn’t fill enough to contest 1/3 of the seats the last GE. Unless they start forming collations, but don’t think WP would do that.
