I was on the train to punggol coast, then I heard this crack sound and the train stalled after 30 sec. I thought it was just my train lmao. There's a smokey smell on the train too. We're stalled near to the station. At Serangoon before the breakdown, I was thinking about the "unofficial breakdown" that happened on the Circle Line that I was stuck in. While on the train, I was watching this video about how to make public transit more reliable, and was thinking of that post about how SBS Transit is more reliable than SMRT. And then it happened. Edit: Door is opened, we're walking out the train onto the tracks.
You can rely on our MRT system to break down weekly, so I guess it is reliable.
Holy shit Punggol also. Whole station blackout. I thought it's a station thing but it's the whole line????
How many breakdowns/disruptions have there been since the start of the year again? Feels like the frequency has increased in recent times.
