I heard it happen. I initially thought luggage fell because of the ‘thud.’ Then I looked over the railing and saw a woman and immediately knew the end result.
Yes the sound is always like that. When I heard one last time I thought a recycling bin fell over in my housing estate. I couldn’t have been more wrong when I looked out the window. It’s a loud, muffled thud for anyone who’s had the pleasure of never hearing the sound before.
I saw a man kill himself at my estate last month. I saw him falling as well. It messed me up really bad actually. I don't think it would have been that bad if I didn't see him fall.
Having witnessed the entire thing it was an unforgettable moment, as I was walking, and she dropped flat right in front of my eyes back to floor, a few ladies nearby got scared and ran away, I ran immediately towards to help, a man and a few also came forward too to help, after that I ran as fast as I could to the information counter to ask them to call the airport paramedics. It was really crazy because seeing it and hearing how loud the sound was, it sounded like she fell from the 4th or 5th floor.
Despite the result, thank you for going forward to help.
