From the Taiwanese news media (I don’t know how much salt you want to take with them), there is a 6 month notice period for the termination of the training agreement between Singapore and Taiwan. If Singapore decides to give notice, it means China is attacking soon, and they gave Singapore a heads up.
Tbh this whole planned notice/blockade thing is news porn There are 100+ flights and 20+ ferries for commuters between Taiwan and the mainland daily. It's far more sensible for the PLA to have a 1000+ strong SF teams infiltrate the island and take over key institutions in a blitz special military operation.
But also, it's understandable that we would help Taiwan in some way, because condoning a Chinese invasion of Taiwan is the same as leaving ourselves open to invasion.
