New SAF recruits to learn to fly drones and counter them

Damn, I was really not expecting this to happen. I figured there would be a special vocation track for NSF drone operators, but I really did not expect for this to be a BMT thing taught to recruits. I went through BMT 3 months after Russia invaded Ukraine, and now 3 years on, it's been interesting to see that what happened in that war has trickled down all the way to BMT.
i got a feeling that either each section is going to have a drone operator, or there is going to be a drone battalion which supports any units.
This not surprising IMO. I want to see when SAF will announce we have also made our own in house designed in SG kamikaze drones Or when we will have our own drone unit or drone specialist in a platoon
I feel that we already do have our own kamikaze drone somewhere in ST Engineering, it's just not publicly disclosed yet. As for the dedicated drone specialist, probably be revealed soon?
