You can highlight the reasons/be detailed with your responses etc. As OP i will just say the highest would be $45 (shake shack + dessert after), least would be $11 (drinks at a cafe - Coffeebean)

I think no need to splurge too much over first date cos you're just getting to know each other. I'll also feel stressed if I don't like the guy and end up having to "otang". Some guys still have mentality of "if I spend $xxx on you, sex is expected". That saying, I do appreciate it when guys do make and take the effort to plan a nice date and put in thought in looking presentable for their dates. Effort matter.
Different people have different preferences I suppose. But can agree connection and behaviour is more important than money since you can pay thousands and still treat every girl like a ONS. Terrible guys still behave this way as not every girl wants the same thing. They’re also pretty daring to show their true colours to people who’ll remember them.

Well... it depends on whether we could click. Money is not the only measure to a successful relationship. There was one I went for 3 dates to affirm our differences. Her time was also precious too. In total, i believe my spending is about >$500 in total? She bought me some coffee and desserts. Money spent can earn back, time cannot. Given my age, i valued time more.
